Look at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco now.
There was only love in the building for the couple as they turned the 2024 Emmys into a romantic date night.
While Selena—who was up for two awards at the Sept. 15 ceremony: one for her acting in Only Murders in the Building and one as a producer of the Hulu comedy—walked the red carpet solo, she couldn't keep her hands to herself once the music producer joined her inside the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. In fact, the actress often held her boyfriend's hand during the ceremony, with Benny sneaking her kisses in between award presentations.
And when Emmys hosts Dan Levy and Eugene Levy were cracking jokes onstage, Benny adorably kept looking back at his similarly amused girlfriend as if he couldn't get enough of her smile.
Though Selena lost in her nominated categories, she didn't walk away without hardware. After all, the Disney Channel alum was dripping in gems at the award show, including a platinum band studded with marquis diamonds from Tiffany & Co. on her engagement ring finger.
But despite the PDA and the eye-catching bling, neither Selena or Benny—who started dating last year—are rushing down the aisle.
"We always make sure we’re protecting what we have, but there’s no rules," she recently told Vanity Fair. "I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself."
Still, Benny has made it clear that marriage is his end goal when it comes to his future with Selena. When Howard Stern said he's "predicting marriage" for the songwriter, Benny candidly replied, "You and me both."
He added that starting a family is the "next goal on the box."
"It's my thing," Benny shared. "I love being around kids."
For now, keep reading to see their Emmys date night.
Selena Gomez brought Benny Blanco—her boyfriend of over a year—as her date to the 2024 Emmys.
During the ceremony, the musician kept a hand on Selena, who was nominated for her first Lead Actress Emmy for her role in Only Murders in the Building.
The couple shared a laugh in the crowd during the show, hosted by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy.
Selena wrapped an arm around Benny's shoulder as he kept a drink on hand.
At one point, he planted a kiss on the singer's cheek during the Emmys.
By the looks of their date night, they won't be single soon.
Watch the 2024 Emmys ceremony tonight, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC. And don't miss the Live From E!: Emmys red carpet pre-show starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, only on E!.veryGood! (67)
